Song Sermon “It’s All About Jesus” Ralph Freeman
John 1:1-5, Revelation 1:8
A love offering will be received.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ralph Freeman earned his B.S. Degree in Mathematics from Morehouse College. After spending nine years in marketing with the IBM Corporation, God led him into full-time Song Evangelism. His Christian witness, through song, has been a vital part of his lifestyle since 1980. For five years he sang with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus under the direction of the late Robert Shaw. Then God opened opportunities for him to sing across the U.S. and in many other countries. His 3 sons, 2 daughters and a grandson bring a lot of joy to his life. His wife passed away in 2011.
Ralph's U.S. opportunities include solo appearances on national television, as well as concert performances in more than forty states. On February 4, 2010 he was guest soloist at the National Prayer breakfast in Washington, DC, and sang following the President’s address. In 2014 he celebrated his 45th year as a favorite soloist at the N. GA Conference United Methodist Men’s Retreat held at Rock Eagle (Eatonton, GA).
Internationally, he led the music in a pilgrimage to Israel and sang special solos in Bethlehem, at the Garden Tomb, on the Sea of Galilee, at the Jordan River, in Jerusalem, Jericho and Capernaum. He was a guest soloist at World Methodist Conferences in Honolulu, Hawaii and Brighton, England. He was the featured soloist on Friendship Force tours in Gelsenkirschen, West Germany, Newcastle, England and Seoul, South Korea. He also sang while on Mission Tours in Monterrey, Mexico, Niteroi, Brazil, and had numerous ministry opportunities in West and Central Africa. With the 3 Inspirational Tenors of Atlanta, he sang at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, and cathedrals in Florence, Milan and Venice, Italy.
