ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS
 
In an attempt to explore more ministry and outreach opportunities and to hear from the membership,
the Pastor and the Lay Leaders will hold informal round-table discussions
that will be held throughout the year on a variety of topics.
You may submit topics for future discussions to Stephanie Matthews, Jim Ellis, or the Pastor.
 
The first will be on
 
WEDNESDAY, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall
 
TOPIC: Contemporary Services 
 
 


In the Fall
 
After Wednesday Night Live, the Bible Study "A Disciple's Path" by James A. Harnish will be facilitated by Stephanie Matthews. This back-to-basics study of early Methodist discipleship practices, fundamentals of the United Methodist Church, and time-tested practices of spiritual discipline provides tools for the transformation of our lives, our church, our community, and our world.

COMING IN AUGUST

 

Beginning on August 5th the Pastor will be presenting four foundational topics.

Each topic is independent so you can attend the one/ones that interest you.

                                                                                          August 26          Foundations for the Local Church     

 

Sign-up sheets will be available later thyis summer.
Time is from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

 

 


 

 


 
 

The Senior High Youth will meet for a Bible

study in the conference room at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights.

 



The Lion's Club collection box for glasses is in the Library area.

The glasses will be needed for a free clinic

that  will soon be opening in our area.

    The UMW is helping supply paper for UMCOR School Kits.

            e paper needed is loose-leaf 8 1/2 inches by 11; 150 sheets in a pack. 

A box for your donations is in the office hall.

Action Ministries of Augusta is in dire need of the following items for families that are homeless or about to become homeless:

                         Beds (mattresses, box springs, and bed frames)                     
                                  Cookware and dishes (pots, pans, dishes and eating utensils)
                                  The smaller items may be brought to the church.
